In the language of photos​


Photos symbolize many themes in life, some reflect, some inspire, and others teach​


Today I would like to share with you some photos from Alia Al Shamsi: the first female Emarati photojournalist. These photos are part of a series called Half/Half​

It is not only a mirror into my life as an artist
but also a
reflection of who I am
I see the world in black, white
and in between them many shades of grays
This has allowed me to go beyond borders of right and left to an angle of vision not quite either nor neither​

I think there are many lessons to learn from these photos, and you dear reader, what did you learn from them

For me I learnt that one should be flexible and look at things from a wide perspective and explore different options in life ​
